Yeats's poetry attracts a large number of readers by its distinctive literature image. Yeats gave the original image new contents and features in the process of literary creation, and applied a lot of new images in his work. This means his recognition, inheritance, creative development and transcendence to the image of the past, that is to say, he has accumulated and created the images on the basis of their own culture. This thesis will analyze two selected poetic images for they are more representative of nature, and explain the enduring mysteries of the greatest modern poet and his work, with the reference to Yeats's life experience, creative thinking and psychological origins and his overall view of life and love, and show the evolution and development of the image of Yeats's poetry embodied in different periods from a more objective point of view, it's no doubt that there would be some value and significance for our understanding of Yeats from a new perspective.
