Study On The Aesthetic Image Of Nalan's Ci

The aesthetic image is the smallest and most active, basic factor of poems. It is a kind of artistic image materialized when objective physicality is created by the writer's unique aesthetic. It shows us the traditional form and artistic style of Chinese poems and writings. To turn his or her affection to reality, the poet should use languages, and the languages used for poems should describe the images of poems. Nalan Xingde is one of the most famous poets in the Qing dynasty whose writing possesses special characteristics and bright artistic style. The researches of Nalan's Ci, which is a kind of classical Chinese poem, are tending to mature on some aspect, such as the subject of Ci, theme classification, creation specialty and so on, and the research of aesthetic images is still a hot topic whose research direction mainly fixes on the choosing of general images and the explanation of individual images. There is still some research space left for discussion. What is more, the combination of aesthetic images of Nalan Ci is relatively weak. Basing on these, to make a systematic arranging and exploring on the aesthetic images of Nalan Ci is quite necessary.There are four chapters in the thesis.In the first chapter, the writer makes an explanation and delimitation on aesthetic image. At first, she hackles the category of Chinese image and then makes a comparison with the western imago and finally makes a delimitation to the definition of aesthetic imagery in the thesis.In the second chapter, the writer makes a conclusion to the aesthetic imago of Nalan Ci according to the direct aesthetic image and indirect aesthetic image and finds that there are mainly six aesthetic images in Nalan's Ci as follow:pity spring, withered flowers, chilly wind, moon watching, cold dream and sad rain. The writer also finds that Nalan tends to choose natural image and expiring scenery and sorrow.In the third chapter, the writer pushes hard to the study of the combination of the aesthetic image of Nalan's Ci and hackles the surface organization and skin texture of Nalan's Ci basing on some related theories about aesthetic image. On the surface organization, the writer makes research on the form of existence in the aesthetic images of Nalan's Ci according to juxtaposing combination, Progressive combination, set off type combination and contrast type combination. And finally get a conclusion that Nalan is very good at express feeling by set off type combination and contrast type combination, and illustrates that this characteristic is rooted in his poetic conception "use Metonymy to express misery". In the texture of aesthetics, the author study on the the combination of content types of aesthetic Images through the selection of "flowers" image as the main body around the "flower" image group. And distinguish subtle differences in the performance of feelings from the pathetic words:combinations of the key image "Flowers-Fall " to express the feelings of sorrow; "Flowers-Spring and Autumn, " to express the feelings of the short of life; "Flowers- Wind and Rain " to express despair and helpless; "Flower- Moon, Night and Dream" express the feeling that try to catch the memory of old days. "Flowers- Tears, Melancholy" to express the feeling of lonely and desolateness. And then, the author sums up the charateristics of Nalan Xingde's Ci is full of his feelings. We can read blood and tears in his Ci, which was blended into the surroudings that was written by Nalan harmoniously.The fourth chapter focus on the specific aesthetic style from Nalan's Ci, which is a kind of classic Chinese poem.It discourse on the specific aesthetic style of Nalan's Ci from two aspects. One is the beauty of pure and true, while the other is the beauty of grief and indignant. And then it analysised that the formation of the beauty of grief and indignation is Nalan Xingde's tragic life experience and his aesthetic tendency "the grief is beauty". And at the same time, the beauty of pure and ture formed by Nalan Xingde's pure origin characteristic and his conception about Ci, which is promoted by him "writing should based on the Spirituality and Emotion" Nalan was good at expressing those different beauty through its image selection and combination.
