Linfengmian Painting Art Characteristic Research

LinFengMian is an art explorer, is a pioneer of a new painting style. Roaming on the painting and calligraphy art field of China and galloping like the fine horse, he opens the generation of artistic styles in China. Undoubtedly, LinFengMian is a traditional Chinese painting successor, traitor and master. Meanwhile, he implanted the western art ideas into the traditional Chinese painting, and created a brand-new painting style. Exclaiming in the fission, rebirth in the labor pain, he suffered many mishaps in his life, but never giving up the innovation, LinFengMian went out a unique artistic road.The innovation of this paper lies in the combining the internal and external causes together by applying sociology, literary psychology and history research methods, looking for LinFengMian artistic achievements of course dialectically and comprehensively, seeking and reflecting on the Lin's painting deep thoughts and ideas which was ever controversial. In addition, based on the existing experts' evaluation to LinFengMian artistic achievement, I put forward my own views. Return towards the art itself, reflects LinFengMian's effort in seeking art independence and the individual spirit independent.Works of Art is "significant form", and in LinFengMian's work significance, it has its own mysterious life consciousness and sympathy consciousness, this kind of consciousness is different from other painters. Diderot proposed "the beauty relationship," he said:"from the philosophy view, all that can cause the consciousness for relation in our mind is beautiful."Art works have diversified understanding, for such a master who putting Chinese and western Arts together and the guru of a school style, we need to refer to some other famous works, with the method of comparison, to distinguish the difference.Research LinFengMian has three clues, the first is his life and experience, the second is the paintings in different periods, the third is his published artistic works. We can refer to his education claims and artistic style in different periods and Lin's artistic ideal during the research.
