| In the last decade of 20th century, internet began to be used widely S o the network had become one of the most important communication Methods all over the world. It has also profoundly affected by usages of langua ge. Along with its popularization, a new language phenomenon "network la nguage" has been widely adopted. As the development of the internet and its technology and the exceeding number of the netizens, the internet h as become an indispensable part in human daily life.The study of network language has became a hot issue regardless in China or Korea. The human relations goal, human relations background linguistic environment factor and the human relations have all the va riation, but the network human relations linguistic environment varia tion become the main reason of network language variation.The network language discussed in this paper refers to the language wo rds in BBS and those often being used when chatting on-line, not includi ng the network gossip and jargon. Many of the language constituents hav e already been widely known by the netizens, which are the variants of t he existing words and phrases by many means and ways.Therefore, the network language becomes different from the traditional language system in terms of word formation and rhetoric mode not only i n the language production way and also in its consequence.China and Korea both belong to asian chinese culture loop, which ha ve a few similarities in language and culture. A lot of studies in co mparision of Chinese and Korean had been carried in the past but ther e were few studies in between of network language of two countries.Plenty of differences are available between the Korean and Chinese Net work Languages. Meanwhile, they two have something in common as well. Th e paper first analyses the concepts and features of Korean and Chinese N etwork Languages, and then compares the two to figure out the distinctio ns and similarities by focusing on many aspects such as pronunciation, wo rd and grammar. Finally, on the basis of the existing research results, the paper elaborates the positive and negagtive effects of network langu age towards the traditional language and its development strategy as wel 1.The network language involves in this paper is only a small part in K orean-Chinese Comparative Linguistics. When writing this paper, owing th e very little reference materials and the author's limited study ability the paper has left some to be desired. In spite of that, the author st ill holds the expectation that paper can offer some practical and useful informations and data to future comparative research between Korean an d Chinese Network Languages. |
