Female Image And Female Consciousness In The Writings Of Tie Ning

As the chairman of the writer union,Tie Ning plays a certain important role in the literary world. Three identities as politician, writer and female formed her special view of the world, which made her standpoint more stereo and abstruse.Tie Ning has made so many female images for the contemporary literary circles in the 20 years of her writing career, So I take the product of Tie Ning's novels as object, and try to seek connotation and history course of her concern on the female in her novels. The whole thesis is divided into 3 parts.The first part expounds how experiences of Tie Ning influences her creation in the background of the Times change. To make a comprehensive survey on Tie Ning's novles, we will find her works are always about rural, urban , the aesthetics of female poetic, and the umpire ugly of self-analysis, it is her rich life experiences which endows her different new points about village, city and history,and it is the very reason Tie Ning can creat so many wonderful stories and distinct female images.In the second part, four periods are ascertained in light of Tie Ning's novels: XiangXue age, Meiguimen age, Dayunv age and Benhua age. We are from the chronological angle to narrative the dynamic of the female characters in Tie Ning's novels, and get the main characteristic in each period.The female image was relatively single as pure girls in XiangXue age,possessing main characteristic as pure beauty and kind-hearted; In Meiguimen age, Tie Ning started to show female consciousness, young girl, women, old-single female image and mother image had brought a lot of aesthetic pleasure and thrilling umpire ugly; Her female consciousness was directed at the women themselves in Dayunv age, emphasize women's survival condition from unmarried, married and divorced women;In nowadays Benhua era, female image was reshaped in a historical approach, harmony and unity was formed between country and city, men and women.Lastly, mainly represent Tie Ning's changes of viewpoint with female consciousness these years, it transformed from vague to distinct in late 1980s and early 1990s ,and then to nowadays ripe and deepen female consciousness. Tie Ning's ideology has been obviously changed with precipitation of time, She realized that women's freedom and liberation is also complete liberation of human being,so she deliberate the relationship between man and women to pursue and explore the true liberation for spiritual in order to achieve harmony between male and female.
