Uyghur sanam is an important part of traditional Uyghur music.It highlights it's unique national identity with it's artistic charm. Uyghur Sanam is a combined form of music ,dance, poetry and other art forms ,produced by people's daily production and life ,is an intangible cultural heritage with s a very high artistic value .As an indispensable part of Uyghur Sanam ,the sayram Sanam is a creative work of sayram people and their creations spiritual wealth. It could cully reflect the artistic and Aesthetic passion of sayram people as well as their creativity and artistic skills. It represents the classic form of traditional culture of sayram people, loved by broad masses of people with a great popularity. Unfortunately, due to historical changes and social reasons, coupled with dwindling folk artists and scarce of heires, Sayram sanam is on the verge of extinction. At present, thanks to attention of County Party Committee and the government of Baicheng county as well as the support of the masses, it is under Excavation and rescue.This article is A preliminary study on the survival back ground , heritage, social function, culture, the contemporary situation of sayram sanam basing on the methods of conditions. field investigation and document analysis.In addition to the introduction and conclusion text, the text is divided into seven parts, which reads as follows:Introduction part of this study proposed the origin, objects, methods, perspectives and significance.The second part first discusses the word"sanam"in the Uygur language the context; Secondly examines all forms of the Uygur sanam briefing about it's history , formation and utility.The third part discussed the ecological environment of sayram sanam such as, ethnicity, religion, folklore, culture, language and other profiles to disclose the interaction between sayram sanam and survival background.In the second part of the fourth part depending on the theoretical basis in the second part, examines music features, features of lyrics and features of dance performances and other aspects of sayram sanam the entire musical discourse and of morphological characteristics. The fifth part explains the inheritors of sayram sanam as well as the inheritance and the inheritance characteristics .Part VI studies the social function and cultural content of sayram sanam social proposes some new ideas.Part VII based primarily on information gathered from field missions, having analysis on the current situation of sayram sanam ,concludes some main problems about sayram Sanam and proposed the corresponding protection Measures.
