Land issues are principal problem since feudalism time in China. The situation of land business has been turned up in feudalism ,but mature land market is appeared in Ming-Qing dynasty, and the combination of commercial capital and land right also is important characteristic in development of land market. The land market ,especially in Huizhou, showed active situation and unique development trend under the influence of the Huizhou merchants.This paper comprehensively reviews the relationship between Huizhou merchants and land market in Ming-Qing Dynasties,especially the land market in Huizhou.First, do a systematic classification on the land type which Huizhou merchants buying,hold the opinion that foundation,clan,cemetery,farmland,mountain are the main type.Second,conclud the features of temporal and spatial distribution based on macro and micro exploration,which present imbalance in time stages and inside,outside space.Then,discuss the factors which influence the investment in the land market from three respect:the characteristics of the land,the narrow way of commercial capital and influence of traditional values.Finally,analysis the interaction between commercial captial of Huizhou merchants and land rights.And point ou that the traditional argument ,which the behavior which Huizhou merchants invest capital into the land influence its normal development,is unilateral.Because the amount of investment into land have different impact on the Huizhou merchants who have different levels of property.
