Toni Morrison is no doubt one of the most brilliant colored writers in this world, whose works are entwisted with the history of black people. Most of the study and analysis about her and her works are concerned about the black and the history. The sexual discrimination and racism on black women's lives by terrific stories are the eternal theme in Toni Morrison's works. She pays more attention on the black women's personality and the intimacy. In her novel, she uses the lines which contain the poetry and Gothic fantasy in modernism and post modern works.There are more and more analysis and study about Toni Morrison and her incredibly powerful works from the perspective of black people and society in the field of literary. But actually the deep reason for the disaster of black people's life is something related with history and the social surroundings. The analysis is proffered to be comprehensive and overall and should be a general picture about the whole society and the surroundings. The paper here is mainly concerned with the reaction of the superstructure to the history and social based by the theory of West Marxism. And the essence of the theory is the realism in that it pays most of the attention on the real world and the socioeconomic inequities and ideological contradictions. And the West Marxism has the power to make the readers find the happy or unhappy reality of the material or historical meaning.The paper includes seven parts.The first part briefly introduces the life and writing experiences of Toni Morrison as well as the plot of Song of Solomon.The second part makes introduction to the basic theory of Marxism Theories, the development of Marxism Theories novels and its main features.The third part mainly analyzes how the theory of Greimas is embodied in Song of Solomon.The fourth part mainly analyzes how the theory of social surroundings is embodied in Song of Solomon.The fifth part mainly analyzes how the history reason is embodied in Song of Solomon. The sixth part points out the significances of this novel based on the above analysis.The last part is the conclusion.
