| Intertextuality is one of the theory in an important category of Postmodernism and the form of criticism,which has widely applicability in the field of literary theory. Intertextuality and postmodernism, both of them have an inseparable relationship. However, what is the actual meaning of intertextuality in the background of postmodernism and where will the intertextuality move towards? Hence, even the content of this theory itself is still in constant flux, no one can give definitive answers yet. But one thing could be clear that the theory of intertextuality is doomed to unique since its birth, the conception, which was gestated by Kristeva, has broken through the circle of semiotics that gift us an impressive change on the conception of literature:From creation to writing, from works to text. It moves towards the circle of literature and art, even affect the whole literature. The theory of intertextuality emphasizes the interaction between the content and the form in the text, and breaks through the traditional narrative structure, then checks and approves the text to a broadly cultural background, and furthermore, strengthens the connection between the text and the culture, expands the horizon of the literary studies, and this is the most characteristic and contributive side of the intertextual theory. Therefore, on the one hand,many literary critics use the intertextual theory to find out the intertextual connection between text and the others. On the other hand, they move forward to dig out the intertextual connection between text and nontext, trying to weave the composite significance. Based on this, this study open a new path, trying the new postmodern perspective, focusing on the postmodern theory of intertextuality under the new era of evolution. All texts are text for others, meanwhile, all readings are intertext for each other.The bounds of literature and non-literature has been obscured by intertextuality, then both of them are generalized and fused together. |
