Bai Juyi, the famous poet in Dynasty Tang, had written 2916 poems included the addenda 109 ones. His works are widely studied in many aspects by the academic circle. However, in the study of poem images, it was fallen into expression way, such as borrowing lyrics by things and views. Unfortunately there was no analytically and systematically studies generally based on the poem images. The poem images of Bai are the cooperative result of the Confucian thought and literary accomplishment. The pine and bamboo represents his holly personality: The bamboo is intrinsic straight with hollow in body, which is similar to the characters of gentlemen. The pine trees are snow resistant with a dark green color, which is analogous to the indomitable sprits of solons. The cages and birds are the reflection of bitter and depression during the demotion to Jiangzhou. Bai Juyi showed his mutual sympathy and appreciation with birds in cages through ways of creating many poems. The poem of white hair is the sustenance of his clear and profound life consciousness, of his anxiety of time urgent and the resultant bemoaning affection. In the images of beautiful flowers contain the attitude of sigh with emotion about the unrecognized talents, position fluctuation and without opportunities to display his abilities.
