With China's reform and opening up of more than 30 years of development, China's economic and national power has made a great development , international prestige has also been significantly improved. As one of the world's oldest languages, Chinese is the most splendid and glorious historical heritage of our great motherland. From Shang Oracle, to the Shang and Zhou Jin; from Qin to Li Kai seal script, cursive, our ancestors have left us a bright and brilliant culture. Nowadays, China has once again come onto the world stage and once again in the world the" Chinese wind"," Chinese fever" is sweeping. Considering of this national situation, in order to better develop the friendly relationship of China and the other countries of the world , to make the people of all over the world know more about Chinese language and Chinese culture and to provide the Chinese fans a good and convenient learning condition, in November 2004,our country began to open Confucius institutes in global and until now, the total quantity of Confucius Institutes and Confucius Classrooms in the global has already exceeded 600, becoming the word's platform to promote the Chinese language teaching and to disseminate the Chinese culture.South Korea, as the world's first Confucius Institute located place, is also at present in all the countries of the global has the largest density of Confucius Institute .As the international volunteer of Chinese teacher, in October 2010,I came to South Korea Confucius Institute at Dong A University. Now I have completed one year of Chinese language teaching work and will continue to stay here for working.On the one hand, in the foundation of the overseas experience, in the following content, I introduced the current development of Confucius Institute in South Korea, with the establishment of Confucius Institute overseas, Chinese as a foreign language teaching, is not only confined to the domestic foreign students'education. So I hope to attract more scholars to focus the research on the overseas-the broader Chinese teaching garden . On the other hand, in this paper, breaking the previous limited definition about oral teaching of opening ratio, that is not all the opening rate can have a positive effect in improving students Chinese level and only the effective ratio can improve students' language skills.This paper is mainly divided into four parts. The first part is mainly focus on the investigation of Chinese education in South Korea , including the development process of Chinese education in South Korea, the current development of Chinese education in South Korea ,and several different forms of Chinese education in South Korea. The second part puts eyes on students'ages, occupations, motivations of learning to deeply discuss the characteristics of Confucius Institute in South Korea, In the third part from the perspective of the current spoken Chinese teaching in Confucius Institute, to evaluate, and learn from each other. Finally, from the angle of improving the opening rate in spoken Chinese class and increase the effective opening rate, discuss and explore the methods of improving the teaching.We sincerely hope that this paper can both in theory and in practice two respects to provide some inspiration and help for the Chinese teachers in Confucius Institutes and those scholars committed to spoken Chinese studies.
