Nowadays the links between different countries get closer and closer and the communications between different cultures are also increasing. Under such conditions, the problem of external communication in Chinese cultures is in front of us. With the further development of China's opening-up and reform policy, the simple "bring in" policy is unable to meet the needs of modern society anymore. People start to concentrate on how to make Chinese culture "go out". The essential issue of cultural communication is how to reverse the long-standing deficit lies in the interflowing of Chinese and alien cultures as well as how to promote our brilliant cultures into the world while external cultures rushing into China.The United States has always been focused on the use of culture strategy and good at implementing American political and valuable ideologies by its cultures. The success of Hollywood movies, which are important contents of American cultures, can be seen as a microcosm that reflects the utility of American culture strategy. This paper attempts to analyze the successful factors in the USA Hollywood movies' global cultural expansion, identifying the strategic success of American culture that exports and as a reference, sought to find out proper culture strategies and suitable attitudes toward culture transmission for our country under the background of spreading Chinese all over the world.This paper is divided into four chapters and summarized as below:Chapter one, outlines the object of study, research purpose and significance, theoretical background, research methods, and the importance and nodus in the research.Chapter two, starting from the perspective of American movies, studies the characteristics and output results of the U.S. strategic cultural exports, including the main features of American film cultures, the research of the U.S. cultural export strategy represented by Hollywood movies, and the survey about these movies Chinese audiences.Chapter three summarizes the history of Chinese cultural communication and describes current situation. History summary contents two aspects:the powerful culture before 1820 and the change after 1820. Current situation includes the necessity of paying attention to culture transmission and the achievements and lessons of our culture communication in the new era.Chapter four proposes some suggestions for the Chinese cultural communication by using the example of American culture output strategy. This includes, rebuild the Chinese traditional culture, develop the inner local cultural motivation, bring fashion factors into the traditional culture, assimilate cultures from outside, build up new industry that match with Chinese culture communication situation with the support of national power, as well as respecting Chinese language communication and summarizing the necessary values of our country.
