Research On Huaimin Lee's Poetry

During the period of Qianlong in the middle of Qing Dynasty. Huanmin Lee launched a campaign of poetry created during the late Tang Dynasty with Ji Zhang, Dao Jia as its originator and role model, and finally got an achievement definitely. This article will show you a comprehensive, systematic study on the mentality content and artistic style of its poetry, of course, social, cultural background of Qianlong period and life experiences and theory of the poet are taken into consideration of this study. There are totally four chapters in this article. The first chapter will show you the family background and life experiences of Huaimin Lee. The second chapter will focus on General View of the Major and Minor Poets in Mid-and Late Tang, Revised Edition and Stress on, the theory of poetry of Huaimin Lee. Firstly introduce the version status and main contents of General View of the Major and Minor Poets in Mid-and Late Tang,Revised Edition, and then sort out his personal poetry theory that is to treat Ji Zhang and Dao Jia as originator and divide two groups and to learn about poetry of middle and late Tang, hold in five-character regulated verse, advocate moral integrity. Chapterâ…¢will take a comprehensive analysis of the poems of Huaimin Lee. After the overview of A Copy of Shitong's Poems, I think his poetry can be broadly classified as four categories:First, portrayal of life of poor persons, the poem describes the poor life of leisure scene and praise the integrity of the poor who live soberly; Second the love and missing expression of his family and home; Third, the outpouring of sincere friendship; Fourth, the description of natural scenery. Chapter IV summarizes his poetry style. The overall style of poetry is destitute, mainly reflected on his description of the wild natural scenery and deserted, cold image with deeply artistic conception, selecting poetry with simple and natural language, hard thinking but not visible, exerting but natural.
