The trend of studying Chinese around the world has emerged since stating of the new century. Thailand as a good neighbor of China is influenced by this trend as well. In the past an access to Chinese study was limited with in Private school tutorial and now it is no longer limited as many of public education has also offer this opportunity. This has destroyed perception that studying Chinese has to be undertaken under private school tutorial only. In a past few years, Chinese teaching in public school of Thailand has been supported by the government of China's strategies such as through their Chinese teacher volunteers; Confucius mostly founded23offices.Besides, Thai Ministry of Education also promotes Chinese as a third language option after English and French. However, Thailand started to produce their own Chinese Teacher less than10years ago. Style, method of teaching and teachers'skills are not yet standardized.According to the questionnaire and the interview, this thesis found that the Chinese language teachers in Thailand still have more issues that can develop for more advance. In particular, teachers in Thailand have not enough on Chinese knowledge and Chinese teaching skills.Therefore, this thesis is extremely recommend in this systematic investigation and the learning'situation in Thailand and Chinese language teacher, about their professional ideas, knowledge, Professional skills of investigation, to find the problems, and propose a solution.The main propos of this Thisis is to improve the local Thai Chinese teacher'chinese level for facilitating the Chinese language teaching in Thailand.This thesis used questionnaires and interviews to obtain the various aspects of research required from Local Chinese language Teachers in87Primary and secondary schools throughout Thailand. This questionnaire survey concerning by the professional of knowledge and teaching abilities. In addition to Thailand for facilitating Chinese language teaching project director Dr.Utaiwan Chalermchai and Orient Thai, Faculty of Education the Dean Assoc. Prof.Dr. Montree Yamkasikorn for interviews.The local Thai Chinese teacher still have a problem about Chinese teaching ideology such as; First,the Chinese language in Thailand still lack of Chinese ideology steady. Second, income is not enough and not fully respected so it is lead to some Thai local Chinese language teachers lack on long-term practitioners of intention. Third, the lack of Understanding of the importance of the international standards to improve Thai students.To solve these above problems, this paper proposes the following measures: (1) Ministry of Education, an annual selection of the best local Chinese teachers should be presented with awards and certificates;(2) to prevent the polarization of the teachers in the distribution of income.Chinese teachers with professional knowledge got main problems are; First, teaching Chinese more than10years still got insufficient knowledge of Chinese voice and pronunciation. Second, young teachers also got insufficient knowledge of vocabulary, grammar, culture, and Chinese characters.To solve these above problems, this thesis proposes the following strategies:(1) To improve their Chinese language proficiency:Chinese teacher's examination should be held once a year to ensure that they are qualified.(2) To improve their Chinese's knowledge:Thai Ministry of Education should publish Chinese magazines to help Thai's Chinese teachers improve their Chinese level.(3) To improve their Chinese culture knowledge:First, In training should increase the basic of Chinese culture. Second, should send the Thai volunteers to China to learn Chinese culture.Thai's Chinese teachers with professional skills got main problems are:first, Thai's Chinese teachers teaching Chinese for long time lack of teaching theoretical knowledge. Second, Thai education system not conducive to improve Thai's Chinese teachers professional skills.To solve above problems, this thesis proposes the following strategies: (1)To improve Thai's Chinese teacher training mechanism.(2) To exchange and co-operation between new and old Chinese teachers.(3) Strong support to Thai's Chinese teachers training.(4) To improve teacher evaluation.
