On The Artistic Features Of Contemporary Ethnic Minority Theme Brushwork Figure

Ethnic minorities in China are plenty and widely distributed. Each ethnic minority has its own long history and brilliant culture. And each has its inside spirit and outside distinguishing characteristics. Ethnic minority realistic figure painting has been an important part of the creation of the modern Chinese art. It represents the ethnical spirit and the historical features of the Chinese ethnical culture, and represents the developing ideas and the inseparable relationship of the Chinese ethnical art which is composed of the arts of56ethnics.After the establishment of the People Republic of China, the themes of ethnic minority are becoming more and more flourishing in Chinese art. The artists have a plenty of creating resource and made lots of realistic figure art works about the minorities.The modern realistic paintings reflect the new understanding and new discovery of the model, structure, space, color and texture of modern Chinese art by plentiful and detailed language. They present the charm of art and the aesthetic intension from multi-visions. Nowadays, there are a lot of artists who are specialized in Chinese ethnic minority art. They made plenty of trials and discoveries on the form of expression, skills and structures. The strong visional tension, the combination of specific and abstraction, the consciousness of multi-levels and spaces constitute the main features of modern ethnic minority realistic figure art.This thesis is based on my appreciation and thoughts about the Chinese ethnic minority realistic figure art, hoping that more and more people would pay attention and do research about this art.This article is composed of the arrangement of documents, theoretic works, analysis of paintings and the research of style, and accompanied with my own experience, creation and thoughts. One purpose of this thesis is to presents the rational thinking about the Chinese ethnic minority realistic figure art.There are four parts of this essay. The first past is the summary of the ethnic minority realistic figure art. This art is plentiful plane and has deep-going content. Because of the striking features of the figure, plentiful clothes and special landscape, the ethnic minority art is one of the most important resources of realistic figure art.The second part introduces the traditional and modern expression of the ethnic minority realistic figure art. There are two sections in part two. The first section presents the ways and the forms of this art. And the second section discusses the three forms, those are, realistic art language, exaggerated aesthetic types and decorated aesthetic types.The third is the analysis, summary and prospection of the present situation about the modern Chinese ethnic minority realistic figure art.The last part presents the research and impression of my study experience of this art.The ethnic minority realistic figure art should insist the art spirit of the Chinese tradition and the innovation of era spirit.
