This thesis absorbes the fruit of previous researches of the ancients, which based on the marriage custom of Zhou Dynasty, in-depth interpretation of the Poems in the Book of Songs, and as much as possible to dialysis and restore the purport, the thoughts and feelings of the poems. The paper is divided into three parts: introduction, text and conclusion. Introduction, the overview section, describes the purpose and significance of this study and previous research of marriage poems in the Book of Songs. The text is divided into three parts:The first part briefly describes the overview of the social background of the Zhou Dynasty, and at the same time from marriage years and marriage time, the words of parents and matchmaker, marriage ceremony program, wedding car of the ceremony, the ceremony of the temples in March, ceremony of Gui Ning and Da Gui. monogamy and Ying concubine system, to reflect the marriage ceremony of the system of the Zhou Dynasty.The second part explores the Zhou Dynasty marriage ceremony system status in the Book of Songs from two classes of nobles and commoners. And the poems of the Book of Songs are classified into many aspects:love, marriage, married life, divorce, and mourning that reflect the general state of the Zhou Dynasty marriage life.The third part studies the aesthetic standards of the times, concepts of mate and marriage (including the contradictory attitude, respect and protection for the personality of women in the marriage of the ritual system, the misery and censure of un-ritual marriage), the heirs of worship, as well as the growing maturity of ethics that showed by the Book of Songs under the influence of the rites of marriage.This paper based on marriage customs of the Zhou Dynasty to interpret the Love Poems in the Book of Songs. It not only enhanced the deeper understanding of the marriage custom culture, but also used this social and historical perspective to analyse the pomes that is propitious for further dialysis. The comprehension of the poems would not become a river without water, a tree without root and the further discussion and interpretation of text content of the Book of Songs could be promoted.
