The parent-teacher relation provide a basis for understanding the relationship between families and kindergartens. This thesis taking the evolution of social as the main line, describes the parent-teacher relation over 30 years since the Reform and Opening-up, analyzes its features and summarizes its types. Next, it rethinks some of the phenomena profoundly and proposes some possible solutions. The thesis is composed of four parts:Part one describes the parent-teacher relation under the background of social transformation, reveals the approaches of evolution and reflects on it. From the Reform and Opening-up to the mid 90's, society developed from acquaintances to half acquaintances social state, the act logic of social relations developed into power, benefits and relations logic. Parent-teacher relation therefore turned out to be a mixture of three-level institutionalized relationship among state, society and market, personal relationship and tool relationship. Since the late 1990s, society has transformed into a stranger society, and hides a new acquaintances social state. The act logic and tool logic of social relations is obvious. Parent-teacher relation has changed but keeps the original characteristics.Part two makes an overall analysis of the characteristics about the relationship. The relations core is children as a link forever, and discusses the changes from two aspects of long period and short period, and finally summarizes the types of relationship between parents and teachers.Part three makes an analysis of the reasons of the parent-teacher relation. parent-teacher relationship is children-teacher relationship on certain sense. The problem of expects between parents and teachers, the problem of debriefing and show, the demand of making affection upon reason, the impact of interest expectations and relation degree, the entanglement of the group of women, the deflection of responsibility, all of these make the relationship of parents and teachers bewildering, like a veil, moving with "wind".Part four reflects on problems and suggests some ways to solve them. Loving children is the key of the parent-teacher relation. Parents and teachers not only need to build and maintain emotions, but also treat the relationship rationally, and learn to think from other people's shoes, establish and maintain a good parent-teacher relation under the double standards of equality and special principles, using the middle power.
