By the progressing of information technology, internet community has become a key interaction in contemporary world. Recent years, the administrators of online communities realize that by framework into their online business mode by introducing the "WEB 2.0", the concept of "WEB 2.0" might create great value for their flows and developments of community information.17173 Online Games Website is the pioneer of biggest community web site and has ranked the top 100 web site in China.17173 has continuously been developing new services;from the original BBS platform to Web interface and from Web 1.0 to Web2.0. 17173 has introduced wiki-based ACG database, blogs and more; 17173 has been continually introducing new services for their users. While, however 17173 is still a mystery for academia. There is no thorough study of how 17173 community works and how they could be fully configurable. In order to understand different kind of community as using 17173 site, how the users communicate and interact with each other within the community and why they contribute to this online platform, we have interviewed several users to clarify the case study. By studying this successful experience, it might help us to understand how to manage a virtual community and how to stimulate the interactions of users for development. This research has been conducted ten times as interview and 15 participants attended this who are the users from 17173. Eventually, we dismantled the community activities into three basic segments:they are Competition Segment, Management Segment and Social Behavior Segment. The basic idea is the decision of managers could make competitive advantages for the community; this will increase and attract more new users and stimulate their contributions into the social behavior segment. This Social behaviors and contributions will enhance the attraction of community; this could increase the competitive advantages of community which is beneficial for competitors. The 17173 has a special model as online community. There is a unique history heritage; the long history of BBS also make its self-management form becomes possible. Accumulated knowledge becomes the important tool for competition. The founders of 17173 have precisely positioning and enthusiasm on online game; therefore it makes 17173 develop to the idea which reaches their users closely. The invention of effective account-reward system stimulates the users to contribute more to community; and also it utilizes the social class, dedication and glory, it emphasizes the knowledge for users of 17173 game group; meanwhile it improves the social skill in network community and increase the competition among users. There are also some conflicts among different sub-groups which depend on different users. This may be caused by different ages of internet users. Obviously there are differences between habits and culture. The conflicts may also force some senior users to give up the dedication to community. While, the new users may become the main resource of the sites for further development. There comes up a question on how to balance this matter for the development of 17173. In the meantime, it must consider how to operate the transformation between the low cost of self-govern and the quality of community.17173 is worthy for being showcase to others, and it is worthy for searching and investigating the reward system and its self-govern system continuously in the future.
