Everyone in life belongs to a particular group (such as family, school, corporation). Specifica lly, according to the Sino-JapaneseCultural Differences, the researcher has prepared different questionnaires on thestudents'consciousness of the group norms.Using the questionnaires to investigate how the different mora l consciousnessand different cognition influence individ ual's behavior in the large group and thesma ll group. The results show that:First, in large groups , there is a tendency that mora l consciousness and mora lbehavior are separated in Chinese students and no such phenomenon in Japan. But theJapanese students are more serious for fear of the antipathy from people around them.Second, in sma ll groups , individ ual's psychological factors likely contribute tosome unethical behavior within the group. These tendenc ies in the Chinese andJapanese college students are all reflected in varying degrees .Third, the Chinese and Japanese students who have high level of mora lconsciousness tend to exaggerate the antipathy from the people who have low level ofmora l consciousness. The fear of antipathy impacts them to correct some of the lowerof unethical behaviors.Based on the studies , this paper also discusses that how to strengthen mora l education and other issues in the two different cultures.
