Since the Physics Curriculum Standards (experimental ) was issued in 2003, the new curriculum reforms began to carry out all around the country. According to the idea of the new curriculum reforms, the textbooks of high school physics have also entered into the period of "one standard and more versions"from the period of"one key link". Different versions of physics textbooks started to arise. The exercise of the high school physics is a necessary part of textbooks. Scientific and reasonable arrangement of physics exercisers will help students memorize and comprehend physics knowledge more efficiently and apply mathematical methods more skillfully and flexiblely to solve the physics problems. Therefore the quality of the arrangement of the physics exercises will influence the quality of students'learning results directly. Thus the research on the characteristics and differences of the exercises in different versions following the same standard will become a subject which is full of academic meaning and practical value. The paper, on the basis of the past researches, chooses the exercises in the physics textbooks of the version of PEP and the version of SiNa as the subject. The form elements, difficulty and understanding hierarchy of the exercises in the textbooks of the two versions are systematically compared by integrating the features of the physics exercises themselves and the mathematical difficulty model designed by Bao Jiansheng. The paper consists of the following five parts.Chapter one is the introduction part. The research background and the current situation are introduced in this part. The researcher summarizes and analyzes the previous researches mainly in terms of the researches of textbooks'comparisons and exercises. Chapter two is the part of theoretical studies. The theories that related to the study are briefly illustrated, which include subject structure curriculum theory, humanistic curriculum theory and exercises writing theory.Chapter three is about the research design and methodology. In this part, the researcher introduces the research thinking on the whole and explains the difficulty model in detail. Chapter four is about the results and analysis. In this part, the researcher compares the exercises in the two versions in four aspects: the form elements, difficulty elements which consist of cognitive ability, the level of information complexity, the level of mathematical operation, the level of knowledge content, background level and comprehensive difficulty, the understanding hierarchy of the examples and exercises, the internal gradient of the exercises, then gets the conclusion. In chapter five, according to the research results, the researcher gives some proposals in terms of the writing of the physics textbooks and the application of the textbooks. The study is the substantive result of the studies on the comparisons among high school physical exercises in the textbooks, which hopes to give meaningful references and help for the future researchers, the writers of the physics textbooks and the frontline teachers.
