Study On The Current Situation Of Fujian Amateur Tennis Trainers And Influencing Factors

With the development of tennis, amateur tennis is booming all over china. The training market of amateur tennis players develops well correspondingly. It is of great significance to understand its current situation, study the internal and external factors influencing its development, and popularize tennis among masses. It is a theoretical reference for the growth of amateur tennis trainers as well.The author investigated the current situation of Fujian amateur tennis trainers, by using documentation method, Delphi technique and questionnaire survey. The author checked into and analyzed the subjective and objective factors influencing its development, explored the causes of formation, and proposed corresponding countermeasures.The author had the following founding about Fujian amateur tennis trainers based on mathematical statistics.1) Male trainers are the majority, most of whom come from the coastal cities with a relatively developed economy like Fuzhou and Xiamen.2) Age structure is reasonable, primarily middle and young age, and shows an overall trend of being younger.3) Most of the trainers are teachers and freelances.4) Most of. the trainers have higher education background, over 91.5% of whom are college diploma holders.5) They are of higher athletic ability,78% of whom were students majoring in physical education.6) 41.3% of them have taught tennis for 2-4 years, and 27.9% for over 8 years.7) While only 13.5% of them take it as a full-time job, others are part-time trainers.8) They charge around 30～200 Yuan per hour. Annual income ranges from 5000 Yuan to over 50000 Yuan.9) Only 38.5% of them have undergone post training. These training courses are short-term ones such as "Play & Stay" and ITF training. The training effect is somehow dubious.Via factor analysis the author made a conclusion that the factors influencing the growth of tennis trainers are 1) professional competence,2) social environment,3) need for self,4) market environment. Sex and age make no difference to the four dimension factors influencing the development of Fujian amateur tennis trainers. The amateur tennis trainers with different professional background have significantly different needs for self. The amateur tennis trainers with different educational background have significantly different professional competence and the factors of needs for self.
