Feasibility Study On The Establishment Of Leisure Physical Major For Colleges And Univerities In Jiangxi Province

Since the coming of 21st century, our country's economy has witnessed phenomenal progress with its GDP reaching 4,280.00 US dollars in the year of 2010, which indicates our country has approached into a leisure age. Therefore, there is also an enormous growth for the leisure physical culture. With the implementation of domestic strategy for the construction of Boyang Lake as the ecological and economic zone and the development of Red Tourism, the leisure physical industry has also undergone a good momentum of with the growing demand for leisure physical experts. It is to be regretted that there is no leisure physical major in the colleges of Jiangxi, so the obvious lack of leisure physical talents has become one of the restraining factors in the development of Jiangxi' s leisure physical industry. In view of that, the writer conduct a study in this subject is to promote the integration of the establishment of leisure physical culture in colleges and social demand, and to expand the working fields for physical major students in colleges, and also for the reference of leisure physical industry's development.This paper has applied bibliographic, questionnaire survey, interviewing and data statistic approaches. With integration of the current situation of Jiangxi province, a profound research has been done on the establishment of leisure physical major in the colleges. The conclusion of this survey is as following:1,With the rapid development of domestic economy, the growth of citizen's income, the increase of people's leisure time and the enhancement of our lives, we has attached more and more importance on our health conditions. Therefore, our active participation of physical activities indicates the growing demand for leisure physical talents, particularly, the demand of professional guidance for the female citizen.2,Currently, the colleges in our province has not yet established leisure physical major, therefore, there is a lack in its relevant courses and teachers.3,The majority of teachers in the colleges is in favor of the establishment of leisure physical major, and they will actively learn the relevant knowledge and courses of leisure physical major.4,This is the same case with students, and the proportion for female students is bigger than that of male students due to the relatively poorer health, therefore, they prefer the less intense physical activities.5,The lack of relevant knowledge and practice for teachers and the infrastructure is the biggest obstacle for the establishment of leisure physical major in the colleges of Jiangxi province.
