Researching On The Integration Of Information Technology And English Phonetics Teaching In Junior Middle School

Pronunciation is an essential part of language and the base of language communication as well. Having a good command of pronunciation is not only the need of English language communication but the pre-condition of learning English well. With the development and popularization of the communication approach, people begin to highlight the importance of English pronunciation in language teaching, especially in the normal school, phonetics teaching is the topmost. With booming development of information and technology, the possibility of combining the pronunciation teaching with information and technology has been provided.In this thesis, the author analyzed the current situation of English phonetics teaching and the use of information and technology in it. At the very beginning of this thesis, the author retrospect the development of phonetics teaching in foreign countries and analyses the present situation of English phonetics teaching in junior high school at home,1.
