| Objective: This study will process the data of the national physical fitness monitoring of the year 2000 and the year 2005. The processing results will be uploaded onto a website. The utilization ratio of the data will increase. People in Hebei Province are able to know their health condition and fitness level. The information can be used to make personal fitness improving plan and can help improve people's physical fitness.Methods: The PC version and the C/S structure data management system are not convenient to renew the database and upgrade the software. The sharing of the data cannot be realized between different places. This study adopted the B/S three-tier framework structure, processed the data of the national physical fitness monitoring in 2000 and 2005 with the SPSS software, for the first time, develop web software based on JavaBean and JSP and build the database.Through the data digging techniques, people can clearly see the change of the physical fitness of different age groups. The database can be widely used and the web page is the interactive interface.Results: After the building of the database, users can browse the web page to check and compare the data with the national standard. The data can be renewed and updated in the future. The continuous improving of the database will be the basis of our government's policy making.Conclusion: The database of the Hebei national physical fitness monitoring is a three-tier, mass-oriented and combine-with-the-network database. This database is built in the windows environment adopting database processing software, database and Internet techniques. The interface is easy to operate. In order to develop, maintain expend the database, the database has three tiers, including data tier to database, logic tier to data interchanging tier, appearance tier to interface. |
