Psychological empowerment is very important in higher school science and technology innovation team effectiveness. Science and technology innovation team psychological empowerment mechanism for coordinating team output and individual outputs, emphasize the balance of competition and cooperation are all very important.The paper mainly studied the relationship among ShanXi higher school science and technology innovation team(work environment, leadership style, members of cooperation), psychological empowerment (Speritzer proposed four dimensions:work meaning, self-determination,self-efficacy, work impact) and team effectiveness (performance and satisfaction). The main content and innovation points of this dissertation can be concluded to the following four aspects.First, through the investigation found that the ShanXi higher school science and technology innovation team has the following characteristics on the effectiveness of psychological empowerment:Iow psychological empowerment, authorized incomplete, target unclear, poor internal coordination and many other problems. According to these characteristics, divided the higher school science and technology innovation team into work environment, leadership style, members of cooperation three aspects; Team effectiveness is divided into performance and satisfaction two aspects based on the actual situation of the team; Psychological empowerment is applied to the four dimensions proposed by Speritzer evaluation system. This study provide the more specific psychological empowerment effectiveness measures for ShanXi higher school science and technology innovation team. Next, according to the characteristics of ShanXi higher school science and technology innovation team constructs psychological empowerment model.This model is based on McGrath "input-process-the output" model, ShanXi science and technology innovation team situations as input factors, psychological empowerment as an interactive process, team effectiveness for the output, study psychological empowerment in the relationship between team situation and team effectiveness. This research of psychological empowerment easier to improve the science and technology team effectiveness.Again, appliccation of SPSS and AMOS tests confirmed psychological empowerment mediates the relationship between higher school science and technology innovation team and team effectiveness.The study found that work meaning through the work environment and the members cooperation to influence team effectiveness; self-efficacy through the leadership styles affect team effectiveness. The team leaders should be aware of the importance of psychological empowerment on the effectiveness of creating a good work environment for members, moderate authorized, to improve team effectiveness. This study provides for the Shan Xi higer school science and technology innovation team of significance,finally, analysis of psychological empowerment on team effectiveness through case studies, carries through the application research of this dissertation's hypothesis and proposition,and constructed the psychological empowerment model for the team, simultaneously offers a kind of thinking and analytical frame which makes the team leader of ShanXi science and technology innovation use this theory to understand and manage corporation team more profoundly and roundly.
