Zhoucheng, a Village of Dali Xizhou town, which enshrine and worship many gods, these gods can be divided into two types, the first is the gods enshrined in the Benzhu temples and Mountain gods temples; The second is enshrined in the Longquan Temple. In the Initial survey, I found the attitude of the Bai people villagers towards to the two types are different: inside the local Benzhu temples people come and go, burn incense and worship gods every day; but in Longquan temple is desolate. So I think that behind the many gods are enshrined and worshiped, Bai people villagers have their own religious and cultural selection. Cultural choice Under the context of multireligional, very few people study it so far. ZhouCheng Village, through the study of religious organizations, activities, life rituals, spread the myth, the analysis of many aspects of traditional festivals, the clan culture, the Temple Property, it is concluded that those appeared in Nanzhao Dali Period and gradually localized gods, are more close to the local people; for gods spread from the Central areas in Yuan and Ming and Qing Dynasties, they hold a more than an arm's length attitude. The reason, once the region dynasty is absorbed by the central dynasty, main nation in past dynasty becomes the living frontiers of the central dynasty, which raises nostalgia and memories for Nanzhao and Dali, the national feelings are reflected in the religious life.I will take the Longquan temple enshrined main gods of Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism as a symbol of state power, it is the results by cultural transmission and political reasons, it represents the existence of the state in a remote ethnical village. Through analysis of the religious culture choice of the Bai people villagers, there exists a neither fit nor antagonistic relationship between the national and local community:Bai people villagers accept the authority of the state in superficial, but in actual operation, they take their traditional national culture as center, reflect their survival wisdom and pragmatic spirit.
