With the rapid development of Internet, the scales of network topologies are becoming ever larger and the applications of remote control are more popular among people of all ages. However, remote control softwares are usually developed by different companies, using different communication protocols, and the managements are not the same. So there are cross-platform issues among these remote control software, although some companies develop different software versions for different platforms,the prerequisite must be one to one, that the server system and the client system should be correspond to each other. How to connect different types of servers with correct remote control software has become one of the most important issues in companies and research units.This issue is about some research against the defect of remote control software.We try to conduct a bridge system between the client and the server:a remote control access system based on HDT (Heartbeat Detection Technology). By this, the client and the server can take communication with different protocols. For instance, a client uses the RDP protocol while the server using VNC protocol, they can communicate properly via this bridge system. This will not only achieve the communication between different protocols, but also to solve the cross-platform compatibility issues. Meanwhile, the remote control access systems also isolate the client from the server which also increases the security during the connection.Our research focus on two aspects:the architecture and load balancing about the HDT-based remote control access system. The system consists of two modules:the routing access module and protocol conversion module. The routing access module is placed in the routing front-end while the protocol conversion module is deployed in the access front-end. Remote client connects to the server through two channels:front-end routing and front-end access, which improves the system security. Front-ends detect each other by client/server heartbeat mechanism, so that the system has been greatly improved in terms of fault tolerance. Analyzed and studied the characteristics of the existing load balancing strategy, combined with the application of the access system's own characteristics, load-based load balancing strategy for the comprehensive feedback. By the algorithm with the existing load balancing algorithms test comparison confirmed that this load balancing algorithm has certain advantages, improve overall system throughput.
