With the rapid development of information technology and the degree of social information,information systems and networks have become an essential part of social production.Moreover, the application of PC comes to millions of households.With the popularity of personal computers and the extensive application of information systems,there will be some security issues.These issuses get more and more attention and concern.The characteristic of networks itself is sharing and dissemination,and its nature lead to some security risk after the information systems connected with it.There're reasons to the occurrence of security risks caused by many factors,some are technical and some are managment reasons.In order to determine and point out where the danger is,security risk assessment gets much attention.First,this article analyzes the current situation of information security.Second,it compares the safety assessment standards of the world,and find a best assessment method appropriate to national conditions according to index.On this basis,assess a system with Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP),understand the status of system operation comprehensively,analyze the threats received,take measures to deal with security incidents and assess the whole system,obtained the feasibility report as the decision-making basis for decision-makers.AHP uses a semi-quantitative research methods,get the expert score with a questionnaire survey.Calculate the risk based on the assessment results and get the value at risk eventually.It turns out that this model can utilize the information contained in evaluation indicators more fully,has good operability and it has a certain reference value for practical work.
