Real time database system is the core data platform for integrated automation of industrial enterprise. In recent years, with the expansion of production scale, it's difficult for the traditional real time database to meet massive data processing requirements. Distributed real time database becomes a new trend to resolve this problem along with the development of cloud computing. The collaborative work of distributed database sites needs large volumes of data communication, which have strict real-time and reliability requirements, so this study is of great significance.Through the study of the existing real time database communication technology and distributed communication characteristics, a network platform that can connect the client, server, collection of original centralized real time database is designed. It can provide real-time, reliable communications services for massive data processing, distributed storage and system dynamic expansion of distributed real time database.In this paper, hierarchical design method is used in the design of network platform. Firstly, efficient communication component NetUtility is realized by Demultiplexing and Transport Framework, etc. Session redundancy and heartbeat detection mechanisms improve the reliability of NetUtility; Then, distributed communications platform is built based on NetUtility. C2S makes Concurrency access control possible. Gossip agreement is applied to built Router, which realizes nodes management and data forwarding; Finally, real time database and platform are joined, two architecture of distributed real time database can be supported. Client interface and real time database services are designed in this distributed application, and hence the industrial distributed real time database is established.After constructing the test environment, the function, performance and other aspects of the platform have been tested in details. The results show that the platform meets the real-time and reliability requirements of distributed real time database, and has the capability to support massive data communication.
