| At the end of the19th cenetury, whether the discuss was apprortiate or not, became the standard for evaluation of linguistics, instead of Dualism raised by Descartes. Rhetorical strategies about discuss and texts, just persue the seemliness of discuss. News texts and discuss increasingly emphasis on elaborating appropriate terms. In order to guide public opinions, support the construction of national cultural soft power, and solve the current problem of violent words used in sports news texts, this paper studies on sports news texts in newspapers, and uses text analysis method to analyze news which won China News Award during2002to2010, and sums up rhetorical strategies used in news texts. Findings are as follows:Firstly, the investigation and selection of rhetorical strategies keep to the rules in press industry.Secondly, while framing the rhetorical schemes, according to the orientation of audience and media, and individual authors'writing style, the award-winning sports news texts reasonably assemble "attitude strategy","style strategy" and "communication strategies", report news facts and explain news themes. The conceptions showed in those news all reflect sports news reporters'professional ism and their sense of social responsibility.Thirdly, while organising rhetorical programs, the award-winning news use a variety of appropriate rhetorical techniques to show humanistic concern and reflect view and implication of "appropriate" pointed out by German philosopher Hans-Georg Gadamer. Affirmed by the authoritative news-award organization, those news texts can play a good role in leading the way of Chinese sports news development.To sum up the findings, while writing, sports journalists should make good use of rhetorical strategies and go in for the highest pursuit of "appropriate" and "decent" rhetorical schemes. On this basis, sports journalists should always carry "humanism" in the "coding-reading decoding" process, in order to boost the development of Chinese sports and the communication of both Chinese sports culture and ethos.For the sake of further improve the ability in news expression, sports journalists should try to get appropriate rhetorical strategies, and while citing one's quotes, they should also be aware of how to cite reasonably and make terms in the texts fit their literal and deep meaning. |
