Ground fissures is a unique urban geological disasters in Xi’an. The disaster not onlycause the damage of all kinds of engineering construction, but also lead to a series ofenvironmental problems, it seriously limits the land using along the fissure areas and impacton the layout of the city construction.Uneven subsidence or tilting and even collapse caused by ground fissure activities,sometimes it may even threat to people’s normal lives and property security. In order toprevent the damage of ground fissure activities on the building structure, our designingmainly take the measure of project avoidance. At present there is still a controversy inengineering domain about the rationality of the minimum safe distance to avoid the groundfissure. and the controversy from Xi’an ground fissure survey and engineering designcode(DBJ61-6-2006). Therefore, it is important to realize the harm of uneven settlement onbuilding structure and to analyse the safety of building structure in ground fissure area.This paper based on the observation data on the hanging side within20m of influence area,and reference land subsidence trend of the area in50years by grey theoretical method and getthe subsidence curve. So, we take a18layers of shear wall structure model as the researchobject, analysis and comparing of the building and the ground fissures distance on the internalforce and deformation of the structure changes. The research also study the ground subsidencecaused by additional stress structure component of the distribution and the extent of damageon the project.The results show that when the distance between building and the ground fissures within8m and uneven settlement caused by the structure of additional displacement, additionalinternal forces significantly increasing more than14m, the influence is rapidly reducing on the structure. For the hanging side, we see it is rationally to divide0-8m as the maindeformation zone from ground fissures, and classified8-14m as transitional zone,15m orabove the division is more as a micro-deformation zone. The closer the structure of theground fissures, the bigger of the additional internal numerical value is. So, our designingshould be Forecast the estimate of the bad influence of ground fissures. And we should beconsider it as a load cases which involve in designing of internal force combination crosssection.
