Based on the database of investigation of land use and plan of land use and approval ofconstruction land and remote sense monitor of land use,it is important to build a visualizationinspector system of land resourses.Supported by the implementation of the project of Visualization system of Land resouseof Shanghai,and according with the idea of software engineering we made demand research,overall design, detailed design and implementation in turn, at last we builded the3Dvisualization system of land resources based on Skyline.As designed with b\s schema,thesystem is divided into three layers which are data layer,services layer,application layerlogically. We use TerraExplorer as a secondary development platform, using Microsoft VisualStudio2010as develop tool and JavaScript as the main development language.This3Dvisualization system of land resources can not only reflect the three-dimensional sceneinformation and the basic geographic information,but also can reflect the business informationand the result of statistical analysis.This system has the following characteristics.(1)Implement the basic functions of the3D GIS such as scene roaming, positioning,rotation, refers to the North, enlarge, shrink, distance measurement, snapshot printoutunderground mode;(2)Developed with Skyline and ArcGIS Server which compensate the abstraction of2DGIS,and contains the spatial analysis fuctions;(3)The spatial data is associated with business data and the GIS functions are associatedwith business functions;(4)The system is based on B\S, data, services, applications on the logic of separation, itis convenience for data updating, publishing, sharing and the expansion of services;(5)Unified business information gathering, land information display and the commandmonitoring of law enforcement vehicles,achieved expected results in land resouse area.
