Remote sensing technology is widel y used in Earth resources monitoringsurvey, prediction, pre-disaster reconstruction, marine change, fisheriesproduction, geological prospecting and other fields, and has achieved considerableeconomic benefits. However, the overall level of remote sensing technology cannot meet practical requirements. Outstanding performance in real-time monitoringand processing capacity can not meet the actual needs. For example, although themajority of satellite remote sensing platforms can provide higher spatial resolution,high spatial resolution satellite is bound to sacrifice their time resolution andobserved range, the temporal resolution of satellite sensors and observation rangemeet the needs of real-time monitoring, but its spatial resolution gave the imageprocessing has brought a lot of difficulties, so that it can not extract more detailedspatial information. Such contradiction of the space-time a large extent, limit thepractical application of remote sensing. At present, man y scholars at home andabroad to address the remote sensing image spatial resolution and time resolutionof the contradiction, the solution divided into two types: one is designed andmanufactured to meet the requirements of remote sensors, and platform; anotherthrough image processing using simulation of the multi-source remote sensingdata generated to meet the requirements of remote sensing images. The high costand long life cycle of the former is not easy to achieve, the latter because of itslow cost, flexible and eas y to operate and accepted b y man y scholars.Based on the resolving temporal and spatial contradictions, the use ofexisting low spatial resolution remote sensing images of high temporal resolution characteristics and the characteristics of high spatial resolution, low temporalresolution remote sensing images, the simulation generated along with the featuresof high spatial resolution and high time resolution characteristics of remotesensing images. Specific purpose of research is the use of MODIS imagesimulation ETM image scale of MODIS and drop, the solution to calculate the endreflectivity, spatial resolution and ETM similar spatial resolution, combined withthe ETM images b y the simulation model to generate simulated images of theETM. Realized the scale of decline and image simulation, and rigorous validationmethod on the experimental results prove our method is scientific and feasible,and has high practical value.
