In recent years, with the rapid development of electrical prospecting, making many newelectrical parameters and new electrical prospecting to be emergence. Increasinglywidespread application of electromagnetic sounding method these years, such as TEM(Transient Electromagnetic Method), CSAMT (controlled source audio magnetotelluricmethod) and EH4(electromagnetic imaging system). These methods in the exploration depthup to several kilometers. However, in the exploration underground dozens of meters to severalhundred meters depth of the various types of geological targets, the most basic electricalprospecting resistivity method, with its resistivity sounding profiles and induced polarizationmethods and techniques still has an irreplaceable role. Resistivity method in the explorationdepth shallower than the other exploration methods, but its a theoretical basis, and often ofapplication practice of the accumulated experience and wealth is unshakable. Therefore, it isnecessary to do more research and discussion of the resistivity method. Forward and inverseis the main part of the theoretical and methodological to do with electrical prospecting dataprocessing and interpretation. Array of high-density resistivity method is a good way toexpand with normal resistivity method, so it is necessary to conduct more studies ofhigh-density resistivity method.The author of this article at this stage to do research in his country and abroad with highdensity electrical current situation, the recent application of the new array, combined with theelectrical prospecting forward and inversion simulation. Through the more traditional typesof devices, as well as a new array the response characteristics of the underground abnormalcharacteristics for the application of the conditions and advantages of the new array where todo some research. The main content is as follows:First of all, by understanding the development status of the electrical prospecting, toknow the trend of a general discussion of domestic and foreign electrical prospecting.Description of the basic principles and the electrical prospecting, the introduction of thedevice type, leads to the paper’s research background and significance of the study. Secondly, knowing about the forward and inversion of the electrical prospecting play thetheoretical basis for the forward and inverse theory equations and methods sufficient toexplain fully understand the different type of device, data processing process, and factorsinfluencing their factors of the results, so that we could better understand the differencebetween the type of device.Then, through the numerical simulation of various types of devices, compare thedifference between use of the effect of different device types with different terrain, so that wecan shows that the difference of the effect brought about by the new array, as well as its wherethe benefit and weaknesses. And have a understanding of the existing array.Finally, the forward and inversion of impact analysis in the practical application of theladder sounding profile devices and applications, performance evaluation, ultimately, itsconclusions and opinions can be better applied in practice.
