The study of Structural superimposed deformation is to resolve a regional tectonicdeformation sequence, the research can not only deepen to determine the characteris-tics of geological structure acting, but also helps to identif-y the formation mechanisms and the formation process of geologicalstructure pattern. However, previous superimposed the structure of western LiaoningProvince is relatively small, and field data are quite inadequate; the time of structuralfeatures occurred and the regional tectonic significance is unclear. To solve the above problem,we conducted a detailed determination of structuralfeatures and analysis in the region, which provides the basic data and the basis for therestoration of the deformation history.Tectonic framework of Liaoning southwest region is composed of the structure ofthe NE、NNE、EW and NW in Mesozoic. Today the main retention is NE-NNEstructure, which formed in the period of yanshan. The WE and NWtrending structure only retained in the local. By detailed geological survey, Wepreliminary know the geometry characteristics of these fold and faul and theircorrelations. In the west of Liaoning tectonic superposition is a common phenomenon incrustal deformation, mainly in the following places: East West tectonic found in NorthEast trending tectonic belt, North East dike cutting across East-West tectonic breccia,a series of secondary complex folds, Trend and tendency of changes offault, faults cutting in different directions, and so on. Stacking way is with superposedfold and fault cut the wrong mainly.According to the latest strata involved in the tectonic deformation and the old strata, whichdid not participate in the tectonic deformation and isotopic dating results, Weinitially established the tectonic sequence. The WE trending structures formed inIndosinian period, the NNE-NE trending structures formed in Yanshan period andSuperimposed on the WE trending structures. Parts of the North West is formedbetween the east-west tectonic and NE structure,Parts and North East trendingstructure is a structure formed at the same time. The East-West tectonic is the result of the development of paleo Asian Oceantectonic system, NE-NNE structure is the result of development of Pacific tectonicsystem. The two directions of tectonic superimposition and reconstruction characteristics in the study area is the case layer response of the two big tectonicsystem superimposed reformation in western Liaoning. Further study isneeded to the regional tectonic significance of the North West.
