There are several cheniers formed in the West Coast plain of Bohai Bay since the mid to thelate Holocene, the chenier is a class of important geological in the West Coast plain of Bohai Bay,the characteristics of the Holocene geological evolution in the region are the formation of thechenier、disappear and its alternating with muddy sediments. Accurate record of the interactionbetween changes in the region-based environmental based environment to the marineinfluence and impact to land-based since the mid to the late Holocene. That the localenvironment has experienced number of changes.The auther with research Tianjin Geological Survey coastal of Quaternary Geology fornearly20years and the other researchers for nearly40years the consolidation of the chenier dataand a survey of the field existing chenier (Eijkelkamp gouge groove sampler for taking all theheart of total station surveys and height measurement),sampling and experiments (geochronology,particle size analysis and microfossils identification) to explore the West Coast chenier Holocenechenier material composition, shape, structure, causes distribution and age characteristics.The paper re-Textual research team has mastered more than100AMS14C dating data andadds the author’s own37AMS14C dating data, samples were sent to BeiJing University AMS14Cdating laboratory and Bate laboratory measurements. Make the public aware of the chenier rare characteristics and the important role inscientific research, called for more attention to the chenier, actively involved in theprotection of the rare marine geological heritage.
