With China’s rapid social and economic development, road construction with each passing day, road transport for national economic development role in promoting more and more significant. Highway project is built on the surface of the earth’s crust band buildings, routes through the different natural elements, and sometimes through some bad geological environment, it may be subject to a variety of geological disasters. Meanwhile, road construction may lead to a variety of geological disasters. China is a country prone to geological disasters, geological disasters, all of the roadbed, road and bridge, tunnel and protection facilities, causing varying degrees of stability and security threats, the light leading to traffic congestion, driving comfort and reduced road will cause serious traffic disruption, property damage and casualties along the road to economic development, social stability and consolidate border defense a strong negative impact. Therefore, highway road damage is caused by geological disasters, affecting the smooth roads of major natural disasters. The correct understanding of the main types of road and geological disasters and dangers is a prerequisite for prevention of geological disasters road.This paper is in the mountain road on the highway before the feasibility study design (including route selection, selection of geological disasters prevention measures, etc.) provide a reference. From the engineering geological condition, hydrogeological condition, the influence of human activities and so on several aspects of geological disaster of Highway Subgrade in mountainous area.According to the geological disaster prevention and control measure principle, the existing geological disasters prevention and control work general situation, project may trigger or exacerbate geological disaster prevention measures are described in detail. On the engineering design, construction and operation stages of the geological disaster prevention and control are analyzed, and puts forward some personal experience, puts forward some suggestions. Hope for the future of local transportation infrastructure construction sector to provide reference.
