Multi-attribute Decision Making, is an important branch of decision science, with its theory and method widely used in economics, management, engineering, military and many other fields. However, in recent years, uncertain multi-attribute decision making attracts more and more attention. Multi-attribute decision making based on interval numbers is a class of researching uncertain multi-attribute decision making methods. In reality, because of complex things, uncertain environment or the ambiguity of human thought, decision-making information isn’t usually definitive value, but the interval number form. Therefore, the research of multi-attribute decision making problem based on interval number has important theoretical significance and practical application value. This thesis mainly intends to study multi-attribute decision making methods based on both the weight and attribute value are interval numbers. Concrete work is summarized as follow:(1) By describing briefly the current research on multi-attribute decision making problem based on interval numbers and analyzing the reference [2] method of translating interval number weight into individual value, on the basis of it, the writer proposes a new method.(2) By analyzing the existing methods of calculating synthetic assessable value, the writer proposes a method of calculating synthetic assessable value based on multi-objective programming. The writer discusses the synthetic assessable values ranking based on three kinds of common partial order relation, selects the optimal case. When the synthetic assessable values have maximum element, the maximum element corresponds to alternative is optimal case; when the synthetic assessable values have not maximum element, selects the optimal case by defining virtual maximum element or defining reliability.(3) Showing the effectiveness and applicability of the proposed method by some actual examples.
