Land is regarded as one of the non-renewable and irreplaceable resources andassets,so it is an important essential material basis for human survival anddevelopment. The process of economic development and social progress willinevitably take a lot of land resources, which will inevitably lead to a certainextensive land management. Lots of demand for land and limited land resourcesbecome increasingly acute contradictions between land supply and demand. In orderto operate socio-economic costantly and stably, the contradictions and problemscaused by the extensive land use in China, in particular, regardless of theindiscriminate use of cultivated land concept of economic growth, will become a realproblem which can not be ignored. Thus, developing recycling economy and buildinga conservation-oriented society to a large extent depends on the the intensive land useof the town. The world are generally concerned about the intensive use of land.In terms ofdomestic and foreign, relatively, the Western countries start earlier and pay fullattention. But its existing evaluation study of intensive land use focuses on thecurrent land use status, instead, give less consideration of the relationship betweenpeople and land-use efficiency. In this article, we take Aksu,Xinjiang as a study aera, and analyze land usestatus and intensive land use degree within eight counties and one city in Aksu aera(Kuqa County, Baicheng County, Shaya County, Wensu County, Wushi County,Kalpin County, Awat County and Aksu City). Aksu aera has a fragile ecologicalenvironment, and the available land is relatively small, therefore it is necessary toimplement the intensive land use.Starting point to study land intensive use of relevant theory and evaluation methods at home and abroad, we use the "Pressure-State-Response, PSR frameworkmodel to create an evaluation index system, then we selecte35indicators from theresources, ecological environment, economic and social aspects from Aksu arae, basicon the data by the2011Statistical Yearbook of the Aksu, then use of the entropyMethod to confirm the weight of each indicator in the evaluation index system, andprocess the data with the TOPSIS method, analyze the Aksu region of nine countiesland intensive use of the current situation, come to the results of the comprehensivedegree among the county and city land intensive use, and the results will be divided, according to the results of the analysis to draw the city and county land intensive useof the spatial distribution. Finally analyze the reasons of the spatial distribution for thedifferences, and put forward policy and recommendations. The conclusions are:1.Aksu Prefecture, Xinjiang county and city in general intensive use of landextent in descending order as follows: Kuqa County, Aksu City, Baicheng County,Wensu County, Awat County, New County, Wushi County, Shaya and Kalpin County.2.Aksu land use intensive degree of spatial distribution is roughly as follows:Central than on both sides, intensive degree than in the southern region and thenorthern part of the land use.3.Aksu Prefecture in the overall land utilization is not high, its land-use impactmainly due to: geographical differences of natural environmental conditions, lack ofwater resources, a fragile ecological environment, land desertification, salinization isserious.4.Aksu Prefecture to promote the intensive use of the land, it should balanceenvironmental, economic and social development, especially for the Aksu region’sfragile ecological environment, but should strengthen ecological environmentconstruction and protection. We should enhance the technological level and improvethe environment of development and governance capacity to achieve the sustainable development of land resources.Major policy proposals put forward are: the rational development of unused land;take full advantage of the rich tourism resources; raise the level of agriculturaltechnology; protect the ecological environment; the Government make formulatepolicies; strengthen infrastructure construction; strengthen the awareness of intensiveland use.
