NaMeung copper polymetal deposit and Punk porphyry-skarn-host Au,Cu deposit are located in the same metallo-tectonic zone,and have similarly geology,structure,magmatic rocks and altered mineralization characteristis,which indicate the the NaMeung is a potential area for mineral resources prosepoeting.The rock of the area is characterized by crystalline limestone of Carboniferous System,siltstone of Jurassic System and Quaternary System. The fold structure is dominated by incomplete anticline with EW trend of axial,and dominated by SN-EW-NE-NW trend of faults.The area magmatism is frequently activity, dominated by biotite monzogranite intrusion,K-feldspar granite intrusion,light-color fine grained granite intrusion and porphyry intrusion. Hence the biotite monzogranite can become mother rocks of mineralization.The orebody is mainly located in the contact zone between limestone and granites. The orebodies occur as lenticular shapes,irregular veins and near-bedded.The ore minerals are mainly about chalcopyrite, chalcocite,magnetite and sphalerite with replacement,and filling-replacement, solid-solution separation texctures,disseminated,vein and massively structures.The characteristics of this deposit show that it is a typical skarn deposit.Sulfur, Pb isotopic date and the characteristics of REE suggest that the ore forming materials were mainly deriverd from the deep magma.The high grate oredodies position is the turing part where the contact become gentle from steep,or steep from gentle and the concave part of the granite.Based on the geological and geophysical information,it successfully divided into three metallogenic predication area.This provides theory basis for further exploration.
