Gravity exploration and magnetic exploration are based on the characteristics of the potential field geophysical methods of work. At present, we are facing exploration targets than before, more complex and difficult, some limitations to using a single means of gravity or magnetic survey is difficult to get the quality of the retrieval data, use other methods to give the related support is very necessary. Among them, the joint inversion is the most important means to improve the accuracy of geophysical inversion. Joint inversion have been several data types based on observations of the same or different properties, through its intrinsic link, the joint of two or two or more data obtained with an underground geological and geophysical models.Gravity, magnetic potential field has a certain intrinsic link in the forward and inversion, in which analysis is one of the important link, use the Poisson formula (and the promotion of the relevant characteristics of the potential field of gravity and magnetic anomalies Poisson formula) for analysis, we can get a lot of meaningful physical description of the characteristics of the geological body, including the use of magnetic anomalies deduced from the magnetic source gravity anomaly is given a weight, and magnetic conditions, the probe to obtain the gravity anomaly. To get the gravity anomaly can be applied to assist the magnetic anomaly analysis, can also be used for the inversion to provide an intuitive model results.Particle swarm optimization algorithm to simulate birds in an orderly and unpredictable movement inspired by each individual in the group as a multidimensional search space of a particle, representing problem is a feasible solution, with the two attributes of the position and velocity. Particle updates itself and other particles flying experience, each particle by tracking the optimal and groups best value to continue to modify their position and velocity, the level of the pros and cons of the particles through the particle position to evaluate the fitness function value.Particle swarm optimization does not require derivative information, as long as the problem can be obtained fitness value, it can be solved through the particle itself, the optimization process.This paper design model and calculate the gravity anomaly of magnetic source, and joint inversion of both of these data with chaos particle swarm optimization. Then calculate the respective effect of different correlation coefficients under the weight, the joint inversion of magnetic and gravity, discuss the resolution with different remaining density. Regular exploration and summary, and strive to carry out this inversion mode applied in practice to provide some theoretical basis.
