Several Studies Of Reliability In Cold Standby System

Standby-system is a kind of important systems in reliability theory, it is also one of themain research objects in reliability mathematics field, Standby-system is divided into coldstandby-system and warm standby-system, Amid the reliability analysis about storagesystems, existing research results are mostly focused on the system of two components, andmake less consideration on the condition of not completely reliable switch, componentspriority, maintenance and reliability formula of systems. But most widely used systems arethe opposite situation, and often have more than two components. This paper develops thecold standby-system on basis of existing research results.Chapter2analyzes the reliability of a cold standby repairable system with n componentsand k repair devices, establish the system model, calculate the reliability formula of coldstandby system with n homotype components and k repair devices, discusses the systemreliability distribution on different k values.Chapter3establishes the system model of cold standby unrepairable system consisted bythree different components on condition that switch unit is not completely reliable and the lifedistribution of switch unit subjects to exponential distribution and0-1distribution. Thischapter also derives the expression of system reliability and life expectancy when the workingtime and storage life are all subjected to exponential distribution with different parameters.Chapter4discusses the cold standby repairable Markov system consisted by fourheterotype components and a repair device with using priority and maintenance priority. Inthe case that switch unit is completely reliable, this chapter derives the system model, givesthe reliability index in steady state and average reliability index through reliability theory.Laplace transformation and inverse-transformation, when the system work life of differentcomponents subjects to exponential distribution with different parameters.Finally, we summarize the contents of the article and give some prospect of the paper.
