China is a large agricultural country, potash fertilizer is one of the three largest consumption of fertilizer in traditional agriculture.Owing to more than1.3billion population in China, therefore,the annual demand for potash up to millions of tons,while the sylvite reserves in China only to the global potassium1.9%of the total salt, which most of the potash resources in the form of brine salt lake. Solid potash mine not only low reserves occupancy, but also most of them are difficult to mining of low grade ore,which only about2.7%of the solid potassium salt mine can direct exploit, hence Chinese annual production is very limited, most of the potash has been relying on imports, and vigorously carry out the mineral reconnaissance to prospecting ore is a major challenge for our geologists.Therefore, vigorously carry out the potassium salt exploration and mining based on the latest potash scientific research to seek a large number of industrial significance of the potassium salt,in order to meet the urgent need to potassium salt of our country,which is a priority.In the past, most of the geochemical method was used for sylvite exploration.With the increase of the investment by the state and in-depth research on sylvite mineralization law, in recent years, both oil and potassium exploration method have also been used, i.e.combined scientifically well log and core data which derived from oil and gas reconnaissance prospecting with potassium mineral exploration data.The practical problems of how to use geophysical data effectively, which appropriate identification and evaluation methods can accelerate the pace of search for potash, and try to find a rich source of potash mine as soon as possible are urgent to solve.In view of many difficulties which exist in the potassium salt reservoir detection and evaluation, this thesis analyze the main mineral composition of resource source field’s potassium formation,based on the analysis of four relations taking advantage of well logging and core data,and regarding the main mineral composition as study object,carry out data preprocessing, identification of potassium stratigraphic,reservoir parameters modeling and solve and so on. The content of this paper mainly includes the following aspects:1. Taking potash reservoir logging response characteristics in the literature as a reference,combined with the existing reservoir analysis results,summarize the logging response characteristics of the potassium salt reservoir within the block and identify the logging response law.2. Standardized processing and environmental correction processing based on the measurement quality of the logging data of the layers and the caliper curve.3. Collected exploratory well logging data, core analysis data, water chemistry report,geochemical data, thin section and physical analysis of data in the study areas and so on, fine analyze geological depositional setting and lithology physical characteristic of potassium salt layers in order to identify the characteristics and laws of the distribution of potassium salt layer.4. On the basis of knowledge of the potassium salt layer type and logging response characteristics,analyze log information sensitive to reservoir potassium,then find out the suitable skeleton parameters of corresponding region and layers, which the aim is to establish the identification method of potassium salt layer and evaluation criteria applied to study area.5. Based on geologic characteristic,identification method and evaluation criteria of research area,combined with geological, logging, log, chemical analysis data and core data for potassium prospective evaluation and exploration deployment of the potassium salt.This paper is based on a large number of research information at home and abroad, emerge the technologies routes of potassium salt reservoir identification and evaluation by means of accessing to a good deal of foreign literature:establish the measurement of potassium reservoir logging response characteristics through corresponding analyzing core data and conventional logging curves,and identify potassium strata taking advantage of different ways;form the method of evaluating reservoir grade based on logging data, and have a good effect; establish potassium salt reservoir volume model; quantitative calculate the reservoir based on information situation,by using different evaluation parameters and making the most of core analysis data.Compared the calculated results with core analysis, and making crossplot,we could found that the volume fraction result of major mineral components of potassium strata derived from geophysical logging data quantitative calculation and the result obtained by core analysis have a good correlation, some of the layers are not very good,which clearly reflects the changing circumstances of the strata potassium and has a obvious boundary, therefore,the author believe that the method of this paper is feasible, but it is necessary to do further research with a view to find the reason when some part of stratigraphic match poor and to find the solutions.
