Based on the summary of regional geological background and main deposit types of Taliabu island No I mine area, the research on deposit geochemistry, exploration geochemistry and other aspects were carried out, and by the use of ore deposits, ore deposit geochemistry, isotope geochemistry, fluid inclusion geochemistry, exploration geochemistry, mathematics and other multi-disciplinary knowledge, a systematic and deep investigation into the metallogenic regularity, geochemistry, genesis of Taliabu island I mine area were perform, on the foundation of a comprehensive summary of the mineralization law, the metallogenic prediction researchwas also explored. In this paper, the regional geotectonic background and region algeological characterisitcs of Taliabu island No I mine area were summarized and studied. According to the analysis for ore rocks, rare earth elements, trace elements and sulfur isotope of the Taliabu island I mine area, and compared with the geochemical characteristics of the granite. The results reveal that the Fe-polymetallic metallogenic material in this area mainly from the granite, and sulfur is from the mixed source. Therefore, forming material source is the granite and wall-rock.The research on fluid inclusions of sphalerite of I mining areas in Taliabu island show that the fluid inclusions in this area are mainly gas-liquid inclusions. The gas components of fluid inclusions are mainly H2O and CO2, and the liquid components of fluid inclusions are mainly Ca2+K-in cation and SO42-Cl-in anion. The high content of Cl" and the existence of Li+suggest that ore forming fluid was mainly derived from acid volatile-rich magma. This paper’s main task is to summary and research the geological characteristics, ore-controlling factors and metallogenic regularity of Taliabu island No I mine area Fe-polymetallic deposit. The study show that the main source of ore is granite, partly from the surrounding rock, which consists chiefly of the calcium magnesium carbonatite and metasandstone. The NNW direction faults control magmatic emplacement and mineralization. The prospecting indicator, concluding the stratum, tectonic, magmatic rock, wall-rock alteration, geochemistry and other prospecting criteria are found on the base of geological-geochemical characteristics and exploration geochemistry characteristics.Through the study of geological characteristics, metallogenic regularity, genesis, geochemistry of Taliabu island No I mine area, seven prospecting targets is delimited in the region by exploration geochemistry and model for multivariate information location prediction.
