At present, the exploitation of extra low permeability reservoirs plays a important role in hydrocarbon exploitation in China. Therefore, it is important to carry on the studies on the fracture spacing rule of extra low permeability reservoirs. But now, almost all these technologies has the respective flaw and the limitation. Cause the studies on the fracture spacing rule are still not very clear, the field’s development effect receives the serious restriction.Based on previous theoretical research and practical experience, this paper classifies the cracks according to the geometric relationship, mechanical property and width and summaries the relations between crack origin and with the structure. And this paper also discussed the tendency and the static method of crack. This paper focused on cracks of low permeability reservoir in southeast of yanchang Oilfield. According to outcrop of subject reservoir, we can determine the extent of the formation fractures. By using core fracture material we studied fracture characteristics in southeast of yanchang Oilfield, and then made speculation to development direction of artificial fractures through applying interwell tracer test and water flooded wells monitoring analysis.Finally together with crack system geological characteristics in southeast of yanchang Oilfield,this paper got a comprehensive consideration of the characteristics of natural cracks and artificial fractures.Through the static and dynamic methods, we have the crack distribution rule of this area.
