Based on the project sponsored by the Science Foundation of China,discussions on the factors that influence the seepage in the silty seabed in the yellowriver delta under wave loading. The purpose is to research the mechanism of theseepage。The main work done in the paper including the follow two:(1)Flume experiment,which focuses on the different of saturation and thewave loading. Nine experiments have been done.(2)Numerical simulation,which depends on the softwave called DIANA-SWANDYNE II。The conclusions are:(1)Under the wave loading,the seabed lose clay particle into the wave. afterloading,the clay particle fall down on the surface of the seabed.(2)The wave loading change the denisity、water content and saturation ofthe seabed. Because of the seepage,mud volcano ect. occur in the seabed.(3)Air reduces the permeability of the seabed,The more air contain in theseabed,the low stability the seabed is. Also,the larger the wave loading is,themore clear the response of the seabed.(4)The software DIANA-SWANDYNE II which is on the theory of Boit,isa very useful Numerical simulation software. It can simulate the response the porewave pressure well on the condition of wave loading.
