There are three types of groundwater in Lunan region, fissure water, karst waterand quaternary unconsolidated rock pore water. The resistivity value of rocks isrelatively high when it is dense, but when water-rich area, water-filled cracks, moisture content constructor, fracture zone by the faults filled with moisture contentare in the rocks, the conductivity of rocks will be enhanced significantly and theresistivity value of rocks will be reduced. The difference of resistivity of aquifer andits surrounding medium is obvious, the resistivity of water-rich area will be lowapparently. It will prove the groundwater by selecting resistivity imaging survey andSchlumberger array according to the characteristics of groundwater distribution inLunan region and the obvious difference of resistivity of aquifer and its surroundingmedium. The resistivity imaging survey can complete the vertical and horizontaltwo-dimensional exploration process. It can reflect the horizontal changes ofresistivity of the moisture content constructor in a depth, and provide the longitudinalchanges of its resistivity; it has the detection capability of the resistivity profiling andresistivity sounding. The resistivity sounding is a method that proven the level (or nearly horizontal)rock distribution in the ground. It observes the changes of apparent resistivity of rocksor moisture content constructor in vertical from shallow to deep by expanding theelectrode distance by a certain percentage successively at the same measurement pointto understand the vertical geological conditions under the measurement pointaccording to the analysis of the resistivity sounding curves. It can determine the value of the resistivity and thickness of the electric layer (or electrical sign layer) that used the resistivity imaging survey and Schlumberger arrayaccording to the resistivity sounding curves analyzed by forward modeling andinversion prediction by using numerical methods.
