This thesis selects the carboniferous of the Bayanhot Basin as studiedobject.Using the theory of sedimentology and petroleum geology, combined withregional geological data, outcrops、c ores、thin section and logging data,we try tostudy the sedimentary facies of the carboniferous. The following results are got:1.On the basis of regional geological background, through sunmming up thecharacteristics of paleontology、petrology and sedimentology, the bayanhot basin ofcarboniferous strata will be divider into four groups, from the start, which in turn isQianheishan Formation,Chouniugou Formation,Jinyuan Formation and YanghugouFormation. And founding that in the northern of basin was lacking the Q and CFormation deposits, but in the southern relatively complete.2.Through to the bayanhot basin and its surrounding area ancient land (theancient uplift) rock types of analysis, basins in the carboniferous sandstonecomposition and debris types of analysis, determine the research area of the maincontent source is carboniferous basin of north ALaShan ancient land metamorphicparent rocks area, and the basin of west mountain, the eastern dragon mountain ofbasin were supported in local areas for source.3.On the base of the analysis of outcrop, sedimentation marks, geophysical andgeochemical sign and the sign of paleontology, the author identify five types ofsedimentary facies: shelf facies, coastal facies, tidal flat lagoon facies, delta facies andfan delta facies. And study their characteristics of the time and space distribution, andestablishes the sedimentation model.4.According to the research of sedimentary system type and sedimentarycharacteristics, combined with regional sedimentary structure evolution, differentperiod sedimentary facies and sand body exhibition characteristics, the systematic study of the bayan haot basin in the carboniferous of different evolutionary stages ofthe ancient geographic patterns, and establishes the model of the carboniferousdeposition.
