This paper uses V8multifunction Electromagnetic instrument which was produced byPhoenix in Canada to check the aeromagnetic anomalies in Weining Mountain. Using the routinedata processing system of soft and explain technology to research and analysis the section of MTdata in Weining Mountain and getting area electrical property architectural feature believable inthis area. Meanwhile combine the existing geological result and geophysical result, express thesuperiority of magnetotelluric sounding to check and analysis the aeromagnetic anomalies inWeining mountain and infer the place and scale of the aeromagnetic anomalies. It has referencesignificance to the research of aeromagnetic anomalies in Weining Mountain.First to introduce the geological and geophysical background in Ningxia Weining Mountain.Described and analyses the anomaly of gravity and magnetic in the area.The key point of this paper is to qualitative analysis and Inverse interpretation the MT data.Understand the electrical property architectural feature by the curve, mohr circle analysis, polarpicture analysis, amplitude variation picture of impedance tensor of magnetolluric sounding.Because of the distortion of TE model is less than the TM model, selected the TE model toinversion in this paper. It is mainly present1D and2D feature in the area by the qualitativeanalysis. We use1D Bostick result of inversion as the initial model when we use the2D NLCG toinverse MT data and explain.This paper use the1D,2Delectrical property architectural feature as the key point. Analysisthe structure and aeromagnetic anomalies situation in Weining Mountain On the basis of the resultof NLCG and combine the area gravity and aeromagnetic anomalies feature. Inferred3faults, and2faults is agree with the known faults. Inferred the place and shape of aeromagnetic anomalies, itis agree with the corn of aeromagnetic anomalies basically, Judgeed it is the source ofaeromagnetic anomalies.
