The tectonic location of Laohutai area, Xinjiang is on the north of Tarim microplate, boundedby the Laohutai Faults Belt. Its north is the late Paleozoic Hula Mount aulacogen(Ⅲ-class), and its south is the north frontal fault zone of the Tarim Central Block(Ⅲ-class). A comprehensive anomaly and mineralized points such as Cu, Pb, Zn, Au, Ag are found in the Laohutai area. By adopting the study method of geology and geochemistry, this paper makes a lucubration on the characteristics of geology and geochemical anomalies about polymetallic mineralized points. Based on this, it predicts the metallogenic prospective area. The research indicates that many Cu,Au,Fe,Ag,Pb,Zn mineralized points of the area are mainly controlled by the fault zone. The great fault(such as Laohutai fault) plays a decisive role in the division of south and north ore-forming structure in the studied area. In the Laohutai fault and its nearby area, many mineralization clues are discovered as well as in the nearly SN-trending secondary faults. The discovered mineralized points are mostly related with Laohutai fault. The Laohutai fault is primarily ductile fault, while part of the sector is brittle fault. Southern Tianshan orogenic belt in the northern studied area controls the distribution of the Fe, Cu, Pb, Zn endogenetic deposit, but the depression belt before the Kucheshan Mountain in the south controls the distribution of coal, oil shale, oil exogenic deposit. The mineralized points of the studied areas have a close relationship with geochemical anomaly. The mineralized point of Tieliekewuyi copper deposit contains the element anomalies of Sb, As, W, Ag, Mo, Bi; nearby the mineralized point of Keziletale copper-lead-zinc-silver deposit contains the element anomalies of Cu, Au, Zn; nearby the mineralized point of Haluhusi copper-lead-zinc-silver deposit contains the element anomalies of Cu, Pb, Sb, Ni, Au, Zn; nearby the mineralized point of north Pochengzi lead-zinc-copper-silver deposit contains the element anomalies of As, Bi, Cu, Zn, Pb, Sb, Sn, As, Ag, Ni, Co, Mo, Au; nearby the mineralized point of Kulekedaliya lead-zinc-silver deposit contains the element anomalies of Zn, Pb, As, Sb, Sn, Bi, Cu, As, Ag, Ni, Co, Mo, Au, W, Cr; nearby the mineralized point of north Tielieke Town Cement Factory contains the element anomalies of Au, Cu, Zn, Ag.Part of the mineralized points in the studied area is in better conformity with geochemical anomalies, such as, the anomalies of Pb, Zn in the mineralized point of Kulekedaliya lead-zinc-silver deposit; the anomalies of Cu in the mineralized point of Haluhusi copper-lead-zinc-silver deposit; the anomalies of Pb, Zn in the North Pochengzi lead-zinc-copper-silver deposit; the anomalies of Cu, Au, Ag, Pb, Zn in the mineralized point of Keziletale copper-lead-zinc-silver deposit.Based on the comprehensive study of the geological and geochemical anomalies, these areas can be divided into:a I-class metallogenic prospect area-Laohutai Cu, Pb, Zn, Au, Fe, Ag, Sn metallogenic prospectarea; two Ⅱ-class-metal-ogenicprospect-areas Keziletale Cu, Pb, Zn, Ag metal ogenicprospectarea(Ⅱ1), WuyitieliekeCu, Aumetallogenic prospectarea(Ⅱ2); a III-class-metal-ogenicprospect-area-Shayilaike Au, Sb metallogenic prospect area(III).
